I am sure you guys all know that we just bought a pottery studio. Things are going well for almost finishing our first week of business. Tomorrow we have open house and a birthday party, so that will be a little crazy. Here are some pics of the place, and the kids getting it ready.

Hey guys - sorry I know it has been forever, and still tonight there are no new pics. Maybe tomorrow? Life as usual is crazy. Maddie had another trip to the ER this week. She fell out of a chair onto her face. We thought her nose was broken, but thankfully it wasn't. She tore her upper frenum in her mouth pretty good, and busted her lower lip, so finally today she is beginning to look normal, the swelling has been horrible. The boys, as wild as they are, are still fine. Tyler and I just bought a paint your own pottery studio here in town. We take over next week, so pray that things will go smoothly in that transition. I hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to see you soon.

Almost Christmas

I cannot believe Christmas is almost here. This is a crazy week for us. We have atleast one party a day. I am glad that it is all going to slow down before Christmas though. We went to Branson for Thanksgiving and had a great time. Maddie and Owen loved silver dollar city, and the butterfly pavilion, or whatever it is called. I still have been trying to get pics for Christmas cards, but still have had no luck. I will try again this weekend. If still no success, I will blame the lack of cards this year on the economy, and not on the fact that it is impossible to get a picture of three kids three and under at the same time. I hope you are all having a great time getting ready for Christmas and I hope to see you soon.

Man free weekend

Ty went hunting this past weekend with Papa and Uncle Matt. So Grammy and Aunt NaeNae came to hang out with us. The kids had a great time doing crafts and helped finish the Christmas decorating. They had their first time playing in leaf piles, but their playing was cut short when Grammy found a little copperhead snake close by. I have started to try to get a pic of the three of them for Christmas cards. I am beginning to think this may be an impossibility. Although we had a great weekend. We are so glad that Daddy is back home.

Fall Fun

This has been a fun and crazy busy fall. The kids have had so much fun. I love fall, but I am so ready for Christmas. Tyler wanted to put the trees up two weeks ago. I told him he had to wait until at least Halloween was over. He asked if he could do it tonight, so I guess I'll give in. I love this time of the year, and can't wait for this Christmas with the kids.

Playgroup = ER visit

Again our playgroup ended in another visit to the ER. This time it was Maddie. She fell off the top of some stairs onto a concrete slab, and busted her head open. Times like these I am so glad Tyler is a doctor. We went straight into the ER, and the Dr. was waiting for us in the room. She had to get three staples and a CT. But everything looked fine. After she heals, she will be good as new. Tyler just got back from picking up my car at our friends house and said she was so lucky she was no hurt severly. I am so blessed to have such great friends that have been there for me in the many crazy times of our lives. If you guys had not been there today, I don't know what I would have done. Thank you so much and I love you guys.

Simplicity

Again I am sorry. Here is another post without pics of the kids. I will get some up tomorrow. I just had a thought that I thought I would share. Tonight was a wonderful night for us. We had no classes, no playgroups, and no dinner out. It was just us at home. I miss simplicity. After a calm dinner, we went for a long walk and Maddie pointed out all that God had made, and then played in the backyard until the bonfire couldn't keep us warm any longer. I know that we bring a lot of the chaos in our lives on ourselves, and that makes nights like this even more special. I hope that as the kids get older and our lives become even busier (if that is possible), we don't loose nights like this where we can enjoy nothing else but each other and God's wonderful creation!

Tonight Tyler and I went to see the new Fireproof movie. I suggest you all go see it. The acting started out a little weak, but you soon get over that. We went tonight with a lot of others to try and get as many people to see it on opening weekend, so that movies like this may get a push in Hollywood. Morning at Magic Kingdom

Well - sorry there are no new pictures from this morning. I put the wrong camera card into the camera, so it didn't work. We had a wonderful time yesterday. Although Maddie was exhausted, she had a great time. She isn't too sure about the human characters, but loves the fur ones. She met all of the princesses, and pooh, tigger, piglet, and eyeore. She loved the dumbo and teacup rides. We went to Minnie and Mickey's house. We had dinner last night with the characters from the Hundred Acre Woods. She was so excited. She would jump around until they got to our table. They had a parade around the restaurant, and she got to hold Tigger's hand to lead the parade. She was in heaven. We stayed last night to watch the fireworks. Although she held her hands over her ears the whole time, she still watched. They were magical. I can't wait 'til later in the week to see them again when we are not all exhausted.
This morning we went to Magic Kingdom again. We met Pluto, Daisy, and Clarabelle Cow. Mary Poppins walked by, but we missed her. While we were waiting for the magic carpet ride to start, Princess Jasmine came up and asked to ride with Maddie. It was so neat. She got to walk with her through the park to the place where she and Aladdin sign autographs. They gave her a certificate for her "Magical Moment". I ran into a friend of mine from Kanakuk, and we had a great time visiting for a little while. Maddie has fallen in love with It's a small world ride, and I am sure we will ride it many more times. After nap we are heading to Epcot to see Nemo and have dinner with the Princesses. Hopefully I will have more pics tonight. Here are a couple I got with the video camera.

Maddie started school today. She had a wonderful time. She pretty much left me at the front door. I am so glad though for her sake. Mom told me I was the same way. She was so excited. Last night she couldn't go to sleep. I had a hard time too. I kept thinking that now she is in the safety of our church with a Godly woman teaching her. I was sick to my stomach thinking about dropping her off at kindergarten. I prayed that Aunt Lenee will get a job there. I know it is awhile off, but it will be here so soon. It is amazing how fast it is going. She has gotten where she wants to kiss on the cheek and that breaks my heart. Owen may never grow up though. He has still been going potty, so we will see where that goes. I think he had a good time today without sis.

Summer fun

I am always so ready for summer, and then once it is here for a few months, can't wait for it to end. I am getting to that point. Thankfully God is giving us a break for the next couple of days. The kids have been doing fine though. We laid sod with Tyler last weekend, and that about killed us, but other than that we are good. Maddie starts school in two less than two weeks, and although I am ready for a small break, it is sad also. I know they have to grow up and do their own thing. But I wish they could stay little for a little while longer. She is doing dance and gymnastics this fall, so she is going to be a busy little girl. Owen and Wyatt don't start for a few more weeks. Oh! Owen used the potty twice yesterday. He has started taking his diaper off and going on the floor, so I thought we might start trying. If he wants to great, if not oh well. It would be wonderful to only be buying diapers for one though! Mom, Lenee' and I went to see Mama Mia the other day. Loved it! We stopped in Walgreens and found these shirts for the kids. We were laughing so loud. I know the clerk though we were crazy.

It is miserable here! At least today it is under 100 degrees. My creative activities for the kids are running out and the pool feels like bath water. Today Maddie woke up in a dress-up mood. You know this because when you go to get her in the morning she will be standing at her door in pjs, feathery shoes, a crown on her head and either jewelry or a tutu. This morning it was her light up dress. So I was looking in the attic for some craft stuff for us when I found a box of old costumes. So what you are about to see is a little bit of our crazy morning. If you missed seeing Maddie in the past on Halloween, you can kinda get an idea of what she looked like. Owen wasn't in the mood to dress up. Mom and I are not drunk, just crazy from the heat. Hope you all are staying cool!

We went to play at Rock Creek this morning, and the kids were having a great time until a whole daycare class showed up. Talk about wild. Maddie is getting so much more agile, and braver. She went almost all the way up by herself. Since we didn't get to play very long, we went to get Maddie's school supplies today. She was excited and wants to carry her school box around everywhere.

I know I am in trouble. I haven't put anything new on in awhile. Just know that I am skipping the opportunity for a shower to get these pics up. Love you guys! The kids are doing great. A lot has been going on this summer, and I can't believe it is half way over. The kids have been swimming almost every day and are turning in to little fish, as long as they have their floaties on. Maddie has swimming lessons last week, but not a lot was accomplished. We went to Wild River Country last week and she went down the big waterslide. She did not know that she would go under at the end and I am not so sure she will do it again, but she did it. We got her school supply list the other day. I cannot believe we are already there! I am excited for her, but I know it will be sad too. Now if it were Owen going, it would be a celebration. That boy is WILD! I hope everyone is doing well, and I will try to keep up better with pics!

We have had VBS at our church this week, and it has been a lot of fun. I am glad that tomorrow is Friday though. I was the photographer until today, and I had to teach music to 2-3 year olds, so I am glad there is only one day left. We had over 230 preschoolers this week, and I think almost 800 kids total, so that is amazing. Maddie has been having a great time. Last night we had our Family Night and her group got to sing on the stage in "big church" although she sang the songs for the most part with her hand in front of her mouth. She was still so excited. She wanted to do it again today. Afterwards we grilled out, and they had all the big inflatables, so the kids played until almost 9:00. Although she is getting absolutely exhausted, I know she will be let down next week when she doesn't go anymore.

Father's Day

It is amazing that just three years ago Tyler was celebrating his first Father's Day, and now he is doing with three kids! We went to a Travelers baseball game Sunday night. Our church had a big Father's Day thing there. The kids had a blast. It was a little hot at first, but they didn't care. After the game Maddie and Owen ran the bases with Tyler and Uncle Matt. Maddie thought that was so cool, because she was so disappointed because she thought she was going to play baseball.

We have been having a lot of fun so far this summer. The kids are loving being outside. We did Owen's new room in farm stuff, so we had to have a farmer picture of him in there. We just got back from the lake with Grammy and Papa, and Maddie caught her first fish. They had a blast! I am not so sure how soon we will do that again though. It was quite tiring.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a pretty good weekend. The weather was beautiful. Maddie is quite the little fish and I can't keep her out of the pool. Owen is doing much better in the water since I got him a motorized boat. We ended the weekend and started the week with a stomach virus. Owen started it and last night Maddie completely covered both of us in vomit. I am hoping that it ends with them. Tyler has his surgery on Friday, and I will be oh so happy if I get sick then. Pray that this ends quickly.

We had Wyatt's one month birthday party last week. Well we had a cake for it anyway. I cannot believe it has already been a month, actually over a month and a week. He slept so good for me last night, but still is not sleeping well on Tyler's nights. It is starting to warm up nice and Maddie is swimming every day. Owen has started talking. He will repeat alot of what we say also. I hope everyone is doing well.

Today was a beautiful day here. Tyler has been really wanting to get in the pool and was convinced that it is warm enough. So today he promised Maddie that they could swim when he got home from work. It was freezing, definately not swimming weather yet. Maddie made him jump off the diving board, and I have never seen someone get out of a pool so quickly. Maddie finally got in to about her waist. She had a great time anyway. Owen had fun splashing until he slid onto the first step, then he was done. The other pictures are from Alex's party at Burns Park Funland last Saturday.

Old Mill

We went to take pictures yesterday at the Decorative Arts Museum like last year, but the gate was locked so we went to the Old Mill instead. I was bummed that the flowers weren't blooming very much, but oh well. It was interesting with the three of them. The Old Mill is not a very safe place for klutzy Owen. They had a good time there though. Maddie for some reason thinks it is some kind of zoo. God has blessed us with three beautiful and wonderful children and I hope you enjoy seeing a little of them.

Wyatt Gipson Nelson arrived on April 15th at 1: in the afternoon. He weighed 7lbs.6oz. and was 19 3/4" long. I am not sure if he looks like Maddie or Owen, but he does have dimples. Which I am so excited about. So far he has been a pretty good baby. He has his moments in the afternoon, but is sleeping well at night. The kids are doing really well with him. Maddie is a little mommy. Tyler has gone back to work and I am surviving with three. We are supposed to have portraits taken next week so hopefully I will have better pictures next week.

Here are some random pictures. A lot of Maddie's friends have just had parties, so some of the pics are from those, and others are just the kids playing at home. Maddie loves to dress up all the time right now, so probably most pics for a little while at least will be her in some type of costume. The camera has been packed in our hospital bag for a while, so there are any really recent pics.

We had Maddie's birthday party a little early this year not knowing how things were going to turn out. We had it at an inflatable party place, and she had a blast. The parents, especially dads, may have had more fun though. I don't think most of them could move the next morning. She was so excited. I am hoping that Monday when we do a little family birthday party, that she is not too confused.

Crazy Life

I know unless there are pictures of the kids, no one is really interested in a blog update, but this is all I have time for now. We are closing on our old house Friday, movers are coming Saturday morning, and our new house is still not ready. It is so close, and supposedly everyone will be out Friday, so there is no play time. I cannot believe all the junk we have. I have been packing for months, and the stuff just keeps multiplying. If you saw our house right now you would say there is no way we will be out this weekend. Anyway, the kids are good and getting excited about moving. It is finally clean enough they can play out there and they had a blast playing tonight. I am just ready to get back to a normal life. Hope everyone is well, and as soon as I have more than a few free minutes I will post some new pictures.

Today was supposed to be a much needed day of rest for me. The kids are at MDO, it is raining outside, and my house is clean. But as is our life lately, nothing is restful or easy. Thank you guys for praying that we sell our house, because we just accepted an offer and close mid-March. The 14th I think. Now a new prayer request is that our new house will be finished in time. Everything is going smoothly out there I think, as soon as I can find my camera, I will upload some new pictures. They are installing lights for the next few days. The main stuff left is wood floors, carpet and plumbing fixtures. If everyone will show up when they say they will out there it should be no problem. I am just ready to be able to live our lives not dependent on the decisions of others. Thankfully we do not have to keep the house ready to show at any moment anymore and the kids can play a little more normally with what toys they have left. I am not sure how well Maddie is going to do with the move. There were people looking at our house the other day, and when I told her they might want to buy it she got really upset, so we will see. She refers to the new house as the new house and this house as home. Owen had his first trip to the ER last Monday. We were at Maddie's playgroup's Valentines party and he fell and hit his head. Thankfully they did not have to stitch it, they just used dermabond. He did so well with it all. I will try to get pictures up later today if I can find the camera. These are just some pictures of the kids playing in Mom and Dad's sand pile in the carharts Uncle Matt got them. Hope you are all doing well!

Here is a brief update. Sorry I haven't been keeping up very well. Things are going okay here. I am ready for summer, and things to slow down. The house is coming along, they are supposed to start painting the walls tomorrow. Still have no definite move in date. We still have not sold our house, but some people are coming back to look again this weekend, so be praying hard that they buy ours. The kids are well, and totally wild. I cannot wait for warmer weather, so they can play outside some. Maddie has turned into quite the princess lately, and loves to play dress up. Today she went for a walk in her princess dress and crown. That is a battle I am not ready to fight yet. I hope everything is going well for everyone, and I will get more pictures posted soon.

Almost Christmas

Well, Christmas is only a few days away, and things are getting crazy. Tyler had the flu this week and Maddie probably did, but we didn't get her tested. She was a lot sicker than Ty. Owen went to the doctor yesterday and has bronciolitis. I know I spelled that wrong. So hopefully, nothing else will happen before Christmas. I know that my turn is probably next. We had Christmas with Dad's family this past weekend. Owen totally did not get the idea of opening gifts. I thought he might, but showed no interest. Maddie did alright though. She can't wait for Santa to come, she asks everyday if it is Christmas yet. We went to Garvan Gardens to see the lights. They both loved it! Maddie played a lot, and Owen just yelled the entire time. Of excitement I think. Everyone was talking about him singing, but it was so loud you could hear it all over. The house is coming along, all the sheet rock is done, and they are working on the trim. Some of the cabinets were delivered today. But we still have no heat. Hopefullly we will Wednesday. I am getting my hopes up that we will be in before the baby comes. We just decided last night to call him Wyatt Gipson. We were tired of calling him baby, so we decided on that. So today, since he finally has a name, I ordered the stuff for his nursery. More than likely it will be awhile before I get any Christmas pictures posted and it will probably be included with Owen's birthday pics. So I hope all of you have a Very Merry Christmas!

Our house is coming along pretty well. I have still not been assured that we will be in in time for baby, but I am hoping. They started the sheet rock yesterday and are doing pretty well with the brick. Maddie and Owen have a good time out there. Hopefully we will have heat soon and that will make it much nicer.

Getting ready for Christmas

We have been busy trying to get ready for Christmas. Maddie has been a big help putting up the decorations. Owen has been good moral support, I guess I could say. We have been trying to get pictures for Christmas cards for the last several days, and that is a nightmare. I can only imagine what it will be like next year. We may just do bought cards from Hallmark. Oh, for those who don't know, Baby #3 is a boy. We don't have a name yet. So if you hear of something cute let me know. If I don't post again before Christmas, Merry Christmas to all of you!

Seeing Santa

We went to see Santa at the mall yesterday. I did not know how it would go, but Maddie has been talking about Santa so we tried. They did really well. They both really liked him. It was pretty special for Maddie. Santa told her to meet him on his lunch break and he would show her the reindeer he had in the basement. We met him and he gave her a little stuffed reindeer. She was so excited to get to see him again.

Once a month we have a playdate with a group of Maddie's friend that are all the same age. For October, we had a Halloween Carnival at our house. The kids all dressed in their costumes and played all morning. Then had halloween treats for lunch. They had a great time, except for the group picture. I was bribing with cookies, but it still didn't work. Owen slept the whole morning, so he got to play a little after everyone had already taken their costumes off.

I am playing catch up here. Things have been a little busy and I have gotten in trouble not putting new pictures up. We went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and did the corn maze. We have done this the past few years, and it is a blast. Maddie walked the whole maze by herself for the first time! Next year we will be have two in arms again. The kids had a great time. They played in the cornbox, and watched and fed all the animals. I love fall!

Busy, busy, busy

We have had a busy few weeks. Mom and Dad are finally in their new house. We got them partially moved in. They are moving along finally on ours. Friday they poured the foundation, and are supposed to start framing this week. I am praying every day that they finish before the baby comes, but I don't want to get my hopes up. We went out Friday afternoon and put the kids footprints in the concrete. We were a little late, so it didn't work as well as I had hoped, but oh well. We had a little pin of footprints the size of the baby's so we stuck those in the concrete too. The kids are both doing great. We went and got some pumpkins the other day, and Maddie loves her ruby slippers and wants to wear them all the time. Owen is walking like crazy behind his little push toys, and I am sure he is going to let go just any day. Life is getting crazier here by the day!

Well, our family will be complete in April. We found out a few weeks ago that Maddie and Owen are going to have another sibling. We went today for an ultrasound, and thankfully there was only one heart beat. The baby looks great! Heartbeat was strong, and measured right on target.

Well we may get into the house by next summer. It had not rained here at all in over a month, and when we get ready to do the slab, it rains for a solid week, and the forcast gets longer every day. Anyway, the kids are doing great. Maddie had another accident the other night at Mom's house and has more banged up knees and a cut foot. Owen is pulling up on everything and attempting to walk around things. He is going to kill himself. I did not know what a blessing it was the Maddie was so long to move.

Maddie went to her first football game on Friday night. It was the Bryant high school game. She had a blast. The man behind us caught the stuffed hornet when the cheerleaders threw it, and gave it to her. She loves it. She cheered all night. She and Matt listened to the Hogs game the next day and everytime he would say go Hogs she would tell him "No, Go Hornets!" Owen stayed at home with Grammy and had a good time too.

Going Home

It was a sad morning today. I was not ready to go. We walked down to the beach for a minute this morning, but it was too hot to hang out long. We left about 9:30 and had plans of spending the night in Vicksburg, but Tyler was excited to get home and see how our new house was coming, so we drove the whole way.

We went out to our new house this morning before church to see what all they had done. Maddie enjoyed walking around the footers.

Well, I can't believe our week is over. Maddie swam for the last time today, and she didn't like deflating her toys. She kept trying to blow them back up. We didn't leave the condo today, and that was so nice. Maddie made another friend today name Melia. She is from Little Rock also. They played for awhile tonight on the beach. She actually got Maddie into the water without a fight. They had a blast together.

Owen and I went to the beach this morning like usual while Maddie and Tyler slept. We played a little on the beach this morning after they got up. Maddie actually got into the ocean. Well, I was holding her and she really didn't have a choice. I think she is getting tired, because at 10:30 this morning she was ready to come watch a movie.

Thursday night

Tonight we went to eat at Hard Rock Cafe and then went to a little amusement type park. Maddie rode all the little rides in the kiddie area and then we tried to get her to ride go-carts with us, but they were too loud. So Tyler rode by himself. Maddie had to stop at the big shark again. Then we came back and played on the beach for a little while tonight and then Owen and Maddie crashed.

Today has been a nice day so far. It has been overcast, so it is not so hot. The tide was down today, so we spent the morning on the beach.

Wednesday

The waves here today have been crazy. I guess because of the hurricane. I went out about 6:30 this morning, and there was no beach. The waves were coming all the way up to the dunes. Owen and I went down about 7:00 and could walk on the beach, but our feet were wet. By the time the two sleepy heads woke up, the tide had gone down enough to go play, but the waves still got us wet. Owen's sheet that he was sitting on was soaked. Tonight we went to a place called Baytowne Wharf. A little village on the bay. It was neat, but there was little breeze, so it was warm. After we ate, Maddie played on the playground for awhile and then we headed back to the condo.

Tuesday night

I had high hopes for tonight. I thought we would get a great family picture and some cute pictures of the kids, but as you can see that is not how it all ended up. Maddie had a break down as soon as we got on the beach, and things went downhill from there. Enjoy anyway.

Tuesday morning

Today was a lazy day at the condo. After breakfast, we made a quick trip to the beach. Maddie played for a little while and then Owen got tired, so we came back up to the pool, where we have spent the rest of the day. I bought a $1.99 kite and they tried again to fly one, but this one didn't work so well either. I think we are going to give up on that. Hopefully tonight we are going to take some pictures on the beach. We'll see how that goes!

We saw exciting animals today

This kids had a great time today. After we had breakfast on the patio, we played outside all morning. Maddie and I tried to make a sandcastle, but when we put the last part on top, it all came crashing down. She made a new friend named Mia today. After naptime we went to eat at Fudpuckers. She has a blast feeding and watching all the gators. There were about 100 of them there. It was pretty cool. We made a quick stop by Bass Pro on our way, where she almost got eaten by a shark. Tonight we went back down to play at the beach. We found a big hole that was a lot of fun. Owen and I watched the sunset, while Maddie and Tyler played in the hole.

Sunday afternoon

Maddie is becoming very difficult to get out of the pool. Unfortunately since she can see it when we go outside, she wants to go constantly. She still is not in love with the ocean. We did all play together a little this afternoon. Tyler bought a trick kite on accident so not being able to do it was kinda traumatic, but she got over it.

This morning was much better. We went and played on the beach, well, Maddie played with her bubbles. She is not a huge fan of the waves, and stayes a safe distance from the water. Owen crashed as soon as we got down there. After Maddie went to sleep he and I went to play. I think he really liked it. Hopefully after naptime they will both be ready to play at the sametime. It is really breezy, so we went and got a kite to fly this afternoon.

First Road Trip

We left last night at 8:30 for what we thought was a 11-12 hour trip to Santa Rosa Beach. Maddie woke up at 12:30 when we stopped for gas and did not go back to sleep. She did not make a peep for over 5 hours. We found out the trip does not take quite that long. We were at Cracker Barrel eating by 6:00 this morning. So after that we drove around for awhile and let Maddie and Owen see the ocean and walk on the beach. Finally at 10:00 the mall opened and we looked for a little while. It was 3:30 before we could get into our condo, so we just came on and swam in the pool anyway. It is nice to have a condo this big. The kids can make noise all night, and we will never know. Tonight we went and played on the beach and then swam for a little while. Maddie is quite the little fish (with her floaties). Neither was just exstatic about the beach, but I know tomorrow once they actually sleep they will have a blast. They both went to bed without any trouble tonight. Tyler and I are about to do the same.

Owen's First Lake Trip

We just got back from the lake for a weekend getaway. The kids had a blast, and Tyler and I are trying to recover from exhaustion. Sleeping with Maddie in a tent is an adventure. Owen slept in the camper with Grammy and Papa, but got up just as early I think. Maddie finally started swimming by herself and actually enjoyed it. Owen just chilled in his floaty.

Here are some of the kids new pictures. In June, we had these taken. Maddie played for several hours with the gold fish in the pond. When we went back today to pick up the pictures, she searched everywhere for the fish.
